Atlas Helical Piles - Commercial Deep Foundation Solutions

The helical anchor/pile is basically a deep foundation system used to support or resist any load or application. Installed by mobile equipment ranging in size from lightweight units to heavier units depending on the load requirements, it can be loaded immediately. The helical anchor/pile’s elegant simplicity is its greatest asset. Its mechanical design and manufacture balance the capacities of its three basic parts and maximize the efficient use of their material.

Atlas Piers of Atlanta installs AB Chance helical piles for our commercial applications.  These helical piles offer the performance of concrete without the high mobilization costs and liabilities of driven or auger-cast piles and drilled shafts. Helical Piles and Tension Anchors are a time-saving and cost-effective deep foundation solution. These piles are monitored as they are installed by using the relationship between torque and capacity.  This provides a quality control measure while installing.  These systems are designed, tested, and proven economical solutions for applications in expansive soils, high water tables, fill areas, and other areas where unstable soils require specialized support.
