Under footing bracket with RESISTANCE Pier
This bracket and pier combination is used for existing foundations to provide lift and/or stabilization. The bracket is placed under the existing footing and the pier is slowly advanced to a sufficient load bearing strata (typically bedrock). Once the pier is driven, you can then push against the pier to provide support for the foundation. These types of piers offer the most support and are by far the most reliable of piering systems.
Atlas installs RESISTANCE piers with capacities from 60,000 to 120,000 lbs.
For lighter structures such as single story homes, stoops, garage columns, etc, a HELICAL pier is the optimal product.

HELICAL Piers
Helical piers are typically used in situations where the loads are not sufficient for RESISTANCE piers. The HELICAL piers are screwed into the ground using a hydraulic torque motor. The flights on the shaft pull the pier into the ground and then serve as bearing support. Usually these piers will torque into very dense soil or partially weathered rock.
Atlas installs HELICAL piers with capacities from 30,000 to 60,000 lbs in residental applications and up to 200,000 lbs in commercial applications.
