Cracked Slab Atlanta

slab pier beforeCracked Slab Causes

Your home may have concrete slab foundation settlement. This is due to moisture content and density of your soils beneath the slab. Soils beneath your concrete slab may dry and shrink over a period of time due to pro-longed dry conditions or maybe your leaking HVAC systems. If you have loose compacted fill soils underneath your slab that can also consolidate beneath and cause floor cracks, hazards, and further cracking and settling throughout your home and/or building.

When these conditions do happen they create a void under your slab. If the slab isn't big enough to  span the void, the slab will in turn crack, split, and settle into the void.

Helical Slab Piers

Helical slab piers will provide support for your failing slab in areas such as garages, basements and patios. To install the helical slab piers we will drill a corn hole in the concrete slab and then install the helical pier with a channel bracket. Atlas Piers installs Helical slab piers with capacities up to 20,000 lbs.

Why wait for your slab problem to get worse. Contact us at Atlanta Piers.
